Rhythm changes! Oleo! and the SPEED of it all. This is truly the crown jewel of jazz forms and one that really you need to know in order to become an accomplished jazz player.
To me, Oleo is all about this classic melody.
We can play it solo, in unison with other instruments, and of course the syncopation of it, in my opinion, make incredibly fun to play and play often!
